Efreman was once part of the High Pureland Council, though a recent revolution saw to the disposing of many powerful Efrei aristocrats. After the wake of this revolution, with a decent section of the city still in ruins and flames, an Emergency Committee was put together by the starving people of Efreman to lead citywide affairs.
No responses has been heard from Arlemany of this revolution yet, however only time will tell how the HIGH KING will respond.
Power Imbalance
The utter destruction and devastation of the wealthy and aristocratic focused district of Efreman has set into motion a large and wide power struggle within Efreman.

- Made up of merchants and much of the pesants of Efreman. Wants an upheval of the institution that enslaves them for a more equal and free way of life

- Made up of the remaining aristocrats and high guards who escaped violence. Still considered the most powerful faction, due to their ties and influence in regions outside of Efreman (Mostly from Vinesreach)

- Church and those loyal to the High King directly

- Those who want a disassembling of power and ruler, minority and target of Orderists, and Divinists.
