The power to bend the mist, to force pure chaos to do one’s bidding, was a forbidden art tied to the darkest of livingkind. To bend the mist, a force of pure chaos, one needed to be chaos and dark, in order to overpower the destructive nature of the mists. Few, if any souls, ever had the wherewithal to claim this crown, to fight the mist and live to tell the tale.
As a result, the secrets of Mistforcers were never hard to keep. That is, until this scroll was made.
I am XXXXXX *the name seems to have been scrubbed out*, a spy and vigilante, who sought and killed Mistforcers before the evil influence of the mist turned them into monsters. There are always those who would call me a monster for the things I was forced to do, but I saw it as a protection. A way to prevent the evil from infecting the most powerful of our generation, that was the main reason I kept myself going, always searching. I’m sure there are those within the Pentarchate who understands this point, as irritating as they might be at times.
I leave this record to pass what I know about Mistforcers onwards, in hopes of bringing awareness to the danger that this form of magic can bring. The mists are dangerous, yes, but we need not turn to evil ourselves to fight back what is the enemy of mankind.
Introduction
The so called “art” of Mistforce is a powerful form of magical control. To wield power itself, and utilize it to corrupt and destroy anything deemed “evil” or “the enemy” is at the core of Mistforce. All mistforcers are born with a certain level of affinity with the mist, which separates ordinary people from mistforcers. This affinity allows someone to channel the mist, either through their body, their blood, or their skin.
However, within the broader label that is Mistforcers, each mistforcer can be classified based on their type of attunement, and how powerful their mist channeling ability is. There are three main classifications, and some of them more dangerous than others.
UPDATE:
A Mistforcer is someone who can bend the mist. Since MIst is made of pure chaos energy, to be able to wield it, one must either be given the power through a means of Chaos (Hemofusion) or be born with an immense capability for Order (a channeling of power of the deity of Providence).
A Natural Mistforcer is in direct opposition to Decay, specifically Ruin.
A Hemofused Mistforcer is in alliance of Decay, as they used the power of Death to compel the mist to do their bidding. It is said that once a person commits Hemofusion, the transition of power also kills the humanity within them, opening their soul up entirely to the powers of Decay.
